Spotlight Apple Orchard - Renewable Energy Social

The entrance of Brightonwoods Orchard.

The RENEW Wisconsin Energy Fund invites you to a networking event in a beautiful rural setting, highlighting sustainable businesses and renewable energy with industry reps and state legislators. This stop will Spotlight Brightonwoods Orchard and AppelTreow Winery & Distillery, successful businesses engaging in sustainability, with installation of solar panels, and benefiting from electricity savings as well as environmental attributes.

While enjoying fresh cider, apple & pear wines, paired with cheese, fresh bakery, and of course apples, spend a little time meeting old and new friends, discussing how we can work together to better engage on common issues with policymakers and each other, to help the industry grow.

With Special Guest Robin Vos, Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and invited Republican State Legislators surrounding this area, hear about current legislative and political topics, especially those impacting the solar industry such as changes risking net metering and establishing community solar programs.

Come join us for a pleasant afternoon social at Brightonwoods Orchard! Refreshments will be provided to registered participants. There is no charge for this event, but please RSVP.
