Updated: Feb 25, 2022

Distillery Room floor at Great Lakes Distillery

On Monday, November 15th, RENEW Wisconsin Energy Fund and event sponsors Generac and Arch Electric hosted the second event in our 'Spotlight on Clean Energy Happy Hour' series. Old friends and new gathered to network and discuss clean energy issues of the day over craft cocktails and appetizers at Great Lakes Distillery in Milwaukee.

The evening began with a trip down to the distillery floor to hear an address from Senator Duey Stroebel and Representative Scott Allen, author and co-sponsor of SB 490, a bill focused on expanding the availability of community solar in Wisconsin. RENEW Wisconsin's Government Affairs Director, Jim Boullion, then shared updates related to clean energy legislative affairs.

Director Heather Allen, and Event Sponsor Generac’s James Watters.

Guests enjoyed appetizers and Great Lakes Distillery's craft cocktails following the speakers. Many attendees had the opportunity to talk with Representative Allen and network with other like-minded individuals that are passionate about clean energy in Wisconsin.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and attendees who support renewable energy advancement in Wisconsin!

Details for our next 'Spotlight on Clean Energy Happy Hour' will be coming soon!
